- 2001, Reserve USDF Horse of the Year with an average of 75%
- Champion or Reserve Champion in all In-hand and materiale classes as a 3 and 4 year old.
- 2002, 4th at the Championship show, having qualified for training level, first level, and the in-hand championships in
only 3 shows.
- 2003, Region 2 Reserve Champion Stallion, qualifying at 3 levels, including the FEI qualifier for 5 year olds at DAD in
only 2 shows.
- 2004, Qualified and competed first level and in-hand at the Region 2 USDF Championships, after only a short show season.
- 2004, Named by the Swedish Warmblood Association of North America (SWANA) as the Swedish Horse of the Year for
Adult Amateur First Level Dressage, under breeder, Ken Borden Jr. for the year 2004.
- According to the USDF, Altemus was one of the highest scoring of all 3 and 4 year old stallions in the materiale
classes, with all scores 79-87%.
